We’ve been working really hard on making a little natural light shooting space for newborn sessions here! Complete with all of my little newborn props that were exploding out of every nook & cranny in my house! Some of you have seen my facebook pictures of my living room when my prop closet exploded last year. All teasing aside. It’s really not funny how much stuff I have “acquired”. But, hopefully this new space will be perfect for what we need now. I have the best father in law in all of Houston helping me make it “perfect” for my needs . . . I mean seriously, apparently architects major in “perfect” because every. single. detail. is about as thought out as the creation of a newborn. Which makes it all that much more perfect!!! giggle. Kidding aside – I’m beyond thankful, because I’m the queen of ‘throw it together and make it look good until it falls apart’ & could never tackle something like this without him. Plus he’s family – so I’m getting a killer deal. It’s quite literally highway robbery. I may have sold my soul and I still owe him majorly . . . any thoughts??
Anywhoo, the lovely little doll below came with both her grandmothers to my make shift studio area (at the time), which is muuuuch more complete since they were here. I told them I kind of got nervous having an “audience” for a second. I felt like I was performing or something (and you know how I feel about that). Then I realized how much they were focusing on their sweet newborn baby & could have cared less what I was doing;o) There were lots of ooohs & aaaahhs behind me & I guarantee from their angle – it wasn’t for me. I think I heard, “Isn’t she just so perfect?” from one grandmother.
Hopefully I’ll be able to share the space in pictures soon. But, for now you can enjoy another wonderfully and fearfully made little human and the light that I love to watch grace all their tiny pieces;o)
peace out. It’s FRIDAY!!!! yeah. buddy.
