fyi – this post is jumping back 2 weeks again! sorry, bear with me as I play catch up this week!!
I got home from Canton at noon and was expected at a photography workshop at 4:30 in downtown Houston AT HOTEL ZAZA! I’ve been to Hotel ZaZa for a party/reception before, but I didn’t really have the opportunity to walk around and check everything out. It is so cotton-pickin’ cool. Unique, artsy, wicked neat, stylish, theatrical, and as high-end, luxury boutique as it gets. I so, so want to go back for a night out. Although they were booked up when we were there, Lawrence told me all about the concept rooms. oh my goodness . . . seriously clever. I wonder who the master mind behind hotel ZaZa was?? I’ll have to google it. It’s sort of a chain. There’s one in Dallas and 1 here in Houston. The artwork and the photography that was scattered about is mesmerizing. As I was walking around admiring the unique artwork and decor ALL OVER THE HOTEL, I caught a glimpse of my self in a reflective wall. And sure enough . . . my reflection caught my eye because my mouth was hanging open in awe. I was early because I never go downtown & didn’t know how long it would take to get from Alden Bridge in The Woodlands to Hotel ZaZa in downtown Houston on a Sunday. Well, not that long if you’re intereseted:o) So, with time to spare in a museum of a hotel . . . armed with an iPhone, what to do??
Well you know . . .

awesome place for a reception or engagement pictures or bridal portraits.
