How’s your summer going so far??

Here’s hoping it’s going swimingly and with only the best kinds of surprises:o)

We had this week off & played a lot . . . In the interest of being real . . . my kids absolutely drove me crazy & I can’t wait for Monday. Of course I left all the pouting, fits, time-oust, mom hollering pictures out;o) BUT, we did manage to make a lot of sweet summer memories & I even got my real camera out (meaning – not just my iPhone – for shame) and took pictures of my kids! These are mostly SOOC snaps – but hey – it’s documented! (If you follow the very little that I write on our FB page, this was obviously not from the same night as Concert in the Park – we kind of lived at Market Street this week!) Is this what it’s like to have a little BOY?

They must be . . . because it’s seems like everytime I take pictures of a toddler BOY around this age, I can’t help but make a panorama of them running around. I’m confessing here & now that I’ll never do it again, for fear of ending up on this list!!

To my photographer friends . . . Have you seen this!? Good Stuff . . . & see Brianna – it’s officially a sin – I can’t make Chloe’s toes purple because then I would be in big trouble with somebody. ;o)

Adriaaaaanne. . . remember these??? I still love them:o) Yes, friends those are “Texas” shaped sunglasses. I happen to think they’re awesome. Would’ve been so awesome for these pictures and I totally forgot about them until after. humph. That’s why they got their own shoot. Made me feel a little better:o)

don’t worry, if you don’t live in Houston – this probably makes no sense . . . It’s the day we celebrate the Houston Livestock show and Rodeo. Kind of a big deal around here. It’s just smelly and crowded if you ask me. But whatever. Great excuse to take pictures of kids who are already all sorts of decked out!
