Little Man Walkin. {The Woodlands, Texas child photographer}

copyright 2009 ~phreckle nose photography~

When asked what she wanted to remember about him at this age, his mom said she wanted to capture his somewhat new walking skills. WELL, let me tell you – not a problem. I have about 150 pictures of him “walking” away from my camera! This may not be her favorite picture from the session and that’s ok. I have his beautiful smile and his little feet walking and some close ups of him exploring EVERYTHING. But, this is my blog & this is what I will remember from that day . . . CHASING him everywhere!!!! So, here’s what it looked like from my perspective and this is what I will remember:o)

**recipe: 1 part drugged shutter speed + 1 part photoshop expertise + 1 part busy little 15 mo. old = one of my all-time favorite pieces!

I did nothing to these pictures other than change them to websize. The sky looked cool on my way home the other day, but not nearly as cool as it looks in these pictures. It was bright outside . . . need your sunglasses to drive kinda’ bright. I was trying to snap a pic of the cool rays the sun was making in this unbearable Houston heat/humidity haze. It was so bright, my phone automatically adjusted and  . . . the result was too fun not to share! Happy Friday:o) Lots o’ sneak peeks coming this weekend!!!

Julie - HA! That’s awesome – I hope you were parked when you took those!

Jacie - Awesome

to my photography buddies:

I love the photography community; it’s truly one of generosity, art, authenticity, bliss, and discovery. I’ve recently received several emails from friends and friends of friends asking me . . . how I did this picture, or what lens I used on that one. Here’s a video in response to those emails. Love where you are. Slow down and enjoy the journey.

 (I’m really just talking away to myself right now – because this definitely spoke to me:o))
